The Voice’s Liveshow Round to make voting results public
|
VietNamNet Bridge – To prove the transparence of voting results of the upcoming liveshow round of The Voice 2012 vocal competition, the organizers will make public the number of votes from the audience after each show.
The results of the liveshow round will be 50 percent decided by audience vote.
From the liveshow round which will start on September 23, the audience will participate to find out who will move on to the next round by sending their voting messages. To ensure transparency of the voting results, Gapip – the service provider - will coordinate with VTV and Cat Tien Sa to check the number of messages received.
The organizers will announce the percentages of votes for each contestant at the end of each liveshow. After that, the specific data on the voting results will be immediately posted on the official website of the program right after the show.
Coaches and contestants will discuss to choose the most appropriate songs for the upcoming liveshow round. The songs must be not only attractive to ensure the overall quality of the program, but also have to fit to the musical character of each candidate, in accordance with their own voice.
Based on the audience comments, besides foreign songs, the organizers and coaches suggested contestants to choose Vietnamese songs for this round. In the first show, more than 70 percent of the songs will be Vietnam works.
Coaches also invited their closest colleagues to train their teams. Ho Ngoc Ha’s team rehearsed with singer Thanh Bui. Thu Minh’s team worked with composer Nguyen Hai Phong. Musician Ho Hoai Anh accompanied contestants of Tran Lap’s team. Dam Vinh Hung asked for help from his vocal instructor – Hoai Nam.
Before each show, the demo records of contestants are sent to the Talpa media group in the Netherlands (which holds the copyright of The Voice format) for the evaluation and consultation of music experts, in order to optimize the quality of the songs.
Contestants are carefully invested from appearance to dancing
techniques in the Liveshow round.
The organizers hired professional dancers to teach contestants.
The Liveshow round will include 12 shows. In each show, two contestants will be eliminated. In the final concert, the four best contestants from each team will compete on stage. The champion of The Voice will be selected by the audience by their votes.
The first show will take place at Phan Dinh Phung Indoor Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City, at 21h20 on September 23. This will be the competition of 14 contestants from the teams of coaches Thu Minh and Tran Lap.
