VNAT leads terraced rice field tour revamp
|
VietNamNet Bridge – Representatives of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) and local tourist firms next week will make an advance trip to examine some terraced rice fields in Mu Cang Chai (Yen Bai), Sapa and Bat Xat (Lao Cai) to prepare brand-new theme tours for travelers.
The trip is set to take place from September 12 to 18 and according to organizers, this themed tour will take tourists to terraced fields, especially at harvest time for the best photo-shoots and to inspect the lifestyles of ethnic minority people.
Terraced rice field tours are not popular due to the lack of tourist infrastructure and services.
The most popular terrace field tourists hotspots are in the three communes of La Pan Tan, Che Cu Nha and Ze Xu Phinh in the northwestern mountainous province of Yen Bai.

“Hanoi - Journeys of Love” exhibition opens
|
After the success of the “Hanoi in my heart” exhibition by painter Bui Viet Hung, an exhibition titled “Hanoi – Journeys of Love” by Hanoi’s Youth was held at the Art Talk Cafe in Quan Su, Hanoi on September 5th 2012.
The exhibition, including paintings, photography and handicrafts, aims to pay tribute to the late painter Bui Viet Hung and express the capital youth message and viewpoint.
The works are inspired by the love for Hanoi of unprofessional young painter Bui Viet Hung and express the efforts of Hanoi’s youth in preserving and proving Hanoi’s subtle beauties, which can fall into obscurity behind the rush into modern life.
The exhibition is also a prism, representing Hanoi youth’s view of this capital after a thousand years of civilization.
In the program “Hanoi – Journeys of Love”, a talk titled “Hanoi – Flow of Emotion” with the participation of the young artists from So Hoa (digital) group, who succeed in re-formatting images of old Hanoi with 3D technology, will be held on September 7./.
