Chefs introduce Indian Food Festival
|
A gourmet journey began for foodies at the Indian Food Festival that opened at the Sofitel Sai Gon Plaza yesterday.
The eight-day event at the Cafe Rivoli features renowned chefs Sanjay B. Dasari and Girishkumar Palliyal Ayichthu and entertainment with yoga dancers.

Prize winning musicians to debut Debussy
|
French flutist Clement Dufor and pianist Tristan Pfaff will perform at a concert at the HCM City Conservatory on September 20.
They will perform Debussy's works like Syrinx for solo flute and In the Boat and Arabesque for solo piano, and Fantasie Brillante from Bizet-Borne's Carmen.
Dufor won the 1st Grand Prize at the Jean-Pierre Rampal Flute Competition in Paris in 2005, while Pfaff won the 2nd prize at the Ferrol International Piano Competition in 2008.
The concert will begin at 8pm. Tickets costing VND100,000 – 200,000 are available at the venue at 112 Nguyen Du Street, District 1. Students are eligible for a 50 per cent discount

Hardrock Cafe goes acoustic for one night

Hardrock Cafe will present a live acoustic music night called Saigon Unplugged on September 19.
The show will feature musicians Juram, Curtis King, Claudio, David Zunk, and Erik Swackhammer.
It will start at 8.30pm. Hardrock is at 39 Le Duan Street, District 1.
