“Is it you? Hanoi Autumn?”

(CPV) – A live show titled “Is it you? Hanoi Autumn?” by singer Hong Nhung will take place at the Friendship Cultural Palace in Hanoi on October 4th 2012.
According to singer Hong Nhung, this is a story written in music, depicting her art activities. In this program, Hong Nhung will sing the songs associated with her fame such as “Is it you?, Hanoi Autumn?”, “Recollection of Hanoi”, “Memories of Hanoi’s Autumn”, “No longer fall” and others.
Nearly 13 years after the trans-Vietnam live show "Hong Nhung – Lullaby for You 99" was held, Hong Nhung now has the opportunity to perform a live show by herself about Hanoi with new feelings. In the program, singer Hong Nhung will perform with the band Anh Em (Brothers) and saxophonist Hong Kien to create a high-quality artistic program.
In particular, the program also has the participation of singer My Linh, one of the diva quartet and also a close friend of Hong Nhung. The two leading divas will harmonize their voices together in 3 songs about Hanoi./.

Dossier on Trang An Tourism Complex to be submitted to UNESCO

The Prime Minister has allowed the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to submit a dossier on Trang An tourism complex in the northern province of Ninh Binh to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to seek its recognition as a world heritage site.
The Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to work with the Vietnam National Commission for UNESCO to finalize necessary procedures for the dossier.
Earlier, on September 27, 2011, the Government permitted the drafting of the profile for UNESCO recognition regarding the 7th and 8th criteria (describing the outstanding geographical, geomorphologic and aesthetic values of the ecological site).
Trang An was part of Hoa Lu, the country's capital more than ten centuries ago.
Dubbed "Ha Long Bay on land", the site covers 10,000ha, including the three areas of the Trang An Ecological Site, Tam Coc-Bich Dong Site and former Hoa Lu Capital Area. It is scattered with karst topography features such as limestone mountains, caves and lakes. It is also home to diverse fauna and flora, with 500 kinds of flora, 73 kinds of birds, 41 kinds of other animals. Scientists also found traces of prehistoric human settlement, dating back 5,000-30,000 years, in the nearby Boi and Trong caves./.
