The exhibition will present a photo set on single disabled women in Hanoi. This photo set is the result of a visit to neighbourhoods in Hanoi to talk with representatives of disabled women. Each photo shows the different story, fate and life of each single disabled women. The exhibition will help viewers see the many things they share with those on the edges of society. "Cactus is bloom" is the name of the project to raise funds to help improve the lives of single disabled women, as well as their children. The project is carried out by the Centre for Community Development with the support of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policy and the British Council. The organizers will set up a fund to support single mothers from the contributions of sponsors, with the money being transferred to the most appropriate addresses.
