Establishing Coucil appraisofing profiles on intagible cultural heritage
|
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has decided to establish a council to appraise profiles on intangible cultural heritages for listings in the national intangible cultural heritage register.
The Council will draw the participation of leading professors and researchers for heritages in Vietnam. Leader of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will be president of the Council which has the function to appraise scientific profiles on intangible cultural heritages of localities for submission to the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism for possible placement onto the list of national intangible cultural heritages.
Proposed heritages must be approved by at least two thirds of the council members.
The Council will reply by written documents within 15 working days after it receives the profiles./.

Air Asia increases flights on Kuala Lumpur - Hanoi route
|
The low-cost carrier Air Asia has announced it will increase flights on the Kuala Lumpur – Hanoi route from 7 to 10 flights a week.
The increased schedule will begin from January 22, 2013 utilizing AK441 aircraft from Hanoi at 9pm and to Kuala Lumpur at 11.15pm on every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Currently, Air Asia is offering a discount with the lowest airfare of USD55 one way from Hanoi to Kuala Lumpur./.

List of 15 movies to stir local cinemas in November
|
VietNamNet Bridge – “Skyfall,” “Breaking Dawn 2”, “Tai Chi Hero” and “Wreck-It-Ralph” are outstanding movies in the first month of the year-end movie season.
1. Skyfall
Date of release: 2/11
The 23rd episode about the charming spy James Bond opens the season in November. Directed by Sam Mendes, Skyfall is the story revolving around the relationship between 007 and M (director of MI6). The spy’s loyalty is tested when the mysterious past of M is exposed. The dangerous enemy of James Bond and MI6 in this episode is Raoul Silva (played by Javier Bardem).
Daniel Craig continues to transform into James Bond. Two new Bondgirls stand by him in Skyfall is French movie star Berenice Marlohe and Naomie Harris. Skyfall is promised to be the most ever intense and dramatic episode of James Bond.
2. Tai Chi Hero 3D

The rival of James Bond in the early days of November is Tai Chi Hero, a martial arts film, the continuation of Tai Chi O which was screened in September. In the second part, the story will continue after the marriage of two main characters. Other actors from the first part like Eddie Peng and Shu Qi still appear in the film, besides the new characters.
3. Bachelorette

With the participation of two beauties Kirsten Dunst and Isla Fisher, Bachelorette is a romantic comedy tells of friends from the high school who meet again to help a girl in the group prepare her wedding. 4. The Inbetweeners Movie

5. Freelancers

Rapper 50 Cent stars in the action drama about the son of a killed police officer who seeks revenge for his father. He faces with his father's former partners and a group of fraudulent policemen to find out the truth. Besides 50 Cent, Freelancers also has the participation of black actor Forest Whitaker and veteran star Robert de Niro.
6. The Paper Boy

This month, the Vietnamese audience also have the opportunity to enjoy a unique psychological thriller which competed for the Palme d'Or Award at the Cannes Film Festival (France) in May - The Paper Boy. The movie is adapted from the novel of the same name by American writer Pete Dexter. The film tells about two brothers, who are reporters - Ward and Jack Jansen. They investigate a mass murder case to vindicate a dying man.
Persuaded by an attractive and innocent woman, Charlotte Bless, the two brothers embark on a journey filled with betrayal, attempts and surprises. This is a new work by director Lee Daniels, who is nominated for the Oscar Award 2010 for the film “Precious”. The Paper Boy is starred by Zac Efron, Matthew McConaughey and Nicole Kidman.
7. Wreck-It-3D Ralph

Wreck-It-Ralph is one of the two outstanding 3D animation films in November and is expected to compete for the Oscar Award next year. The film gives the audience a hilarious journey with familiar characters that have been very close to several generations of children through computer games. The main character of the film is Ralph, who is too tired to do all the background for Fix-It Felix, who plays the hero in games.
After decades of repeating the boring works, Ralph does not want to do wrong any more. He decides to try and participate in the game world to show that he also has the qualities of a hero ... In addition to the original English version, Wreck-It-Ralph is also dubbed with Vietnamese.
8. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part II

The final episode of the Twilight series is the movie that is the most awaited by young viewers this month. Breaking Dawn 2 follows the first part that debuted last year. In the finale, Bella and Edward have to take part in a war to protect their daughter Renesmee from the vampire clan Volturi in Italy. Members of the Volturi believe that Renesmee is an immortal creature and a threat to vampires. Edward seeks help from a lot of vampire and werewolf clans in the final battle.
9. Lawless

Lawless is also one of the films attracted attention at the Cannes Film Festival in France in May. Bringing together emerging young actors, including Shia LaBeouf, Tom Hardy, Jessica Chastain, and Mia Wasikowska, Lawless is about smuggling prevention and the film is made in the style of the far West. Director John Hillcoat of Lawless won the Golden Lion Award at the 2009 Venice Film Festival with the film The Road.
10. Divorce Invitation

The movie is suitable for the atmosphere of the wedding season at the end of the year and is a sweet gift for young couples.
11. Won’t Back Down

Won’t Back Down is expected to be shortlisted in the Oscar nomination list 2013. It is about two mothers, a bartender and a teacher who both have disagreements with the school in the education of their children. Facing the bureaucracy of the school’s officials, they decide to fight for the future of their children. Maggie Gyllenhaal and Viola Davis play the two energetic mothers in the film.
12. The Last Supper

The film recreates the historic gala banquet in 206 BC. In the gala banquet, Xiang Yu finds ways to kill Liu Bang. The stories of history are strung under the new look of director Lu Chuan. The cast of The Last Supper include Daniel Wu, Liu Ye, etc.
13. Angels
Date of release: 30/11
Being compared as the Taken version of Thailand, Angels has the participation by Dustin Nguyen. He plays Johnny, a hand marksmanship who used to work for the CIA. When he hears his daughter was killed in Bangkok, Johnny goes to Bangkok and enters the world of gangsters to find out the secret behind the death of his daughter. He becomes a man in cold blood and is ready to destroy those who stand in his way.
14. A Werewolf Boy

A Werewolf Boy is a romantic fantasy film of Korea. The film tells the love story between a lonely girl (Park Bo-young) and werewolf boy (Song Joong-ki). This beautiful love story drew a lot of attention at the Toronto Film Festival (Canada) in September. This is also one of the selected films of Korea for the upcoming Hanoi International Film Festival at the end of this month.
15. Rise of the Guardians 3D

The 3D animated blockbuster gathers heroes who are attached to several generations of children around the world as Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, Spirit Sleep, Jack Frost, the Easter Bunny.
