Nestled into the hills, undeveloped Sen Monoram gives the feel of being off the beaten track. This charming town has two lakes and is surrounded by tribal villages whose people bring their wares into town to trade. Languages heard in the town are Khmer, hill tribe languages, Vietnamese and Lao. Sen Monoram is a good place to arrange elephant treks or transport to the waterfalls, the double-tiered Brou Sra being only an hour away.
