Day 1: Saigon arrival

Upon arrival at Saigon’s Tan Son Nhat Airport, our guide and driver will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in the heart of the city. You are free to stroll around the city. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 2: Saigon highlights and Cu Chi Tunnels (B)
|
In the morning, we will depart for Cu Chi Tunnels, an impressive network of tunnels with a length of over 250 km. This strategic place was used by 15,000 Viet Cong fighters during the war.In the afternoon you return to Saigon. Then enjoy highlights of Saigon including the Municipal Theatre, the Central Post Office and Notre Dame, the Reunification palace (formerly the Presidential palace) and War Remnants museum. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 3: Saigon – Ben Tre – Can Tho (B, L)
|
At 08.30 am, we head to Mekong –Bentre Province. Arrive at Ben Tre town, enjoy a boat trip on peaceful river and witnessing local daily river life. En route, we can stop to see how people make bricks, salts and visit Coconut workshop. After that, continue our boating on Cai Son and Nhon Thanh creeks to see some family making mats. Take motor cart (xe loi) on country path, passing by rice fields and vegetable plains. Lunch at a local family. In the afternoon, take rowing-boat along water palm creek and boating a long Cai Coi creek. Stop to see rice workshop. Back to land, our waiting vehicle will make our way to Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho

Day 4: Can Tho – morning flight to Hanoi (B, D)
|
Today, you will get up very early to catch amazing scene of Cai Rang Floating Market before flight to Hanoi. Welcome in Hanoi and transfer downtown for dropping off luggage. In the afternoon, we embark on city tour to visit the Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, which is now dedicated to Confucian worship and enjoy the water puppet show, a unique to Vietnam and best seen in Hanoi. Then it’s time for Hanoi Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake with a stop over at Ngoc Son Temple. Cyclo tour through local markets. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi

Day 5: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Hanoi (B, L)
|
After breakfast, we enjoy the 3 – hour journey to Halong. Arrive Ha Long around noon, we will board our private junk and begin the cruise in the bay. Witness the tranquil beauty and breathtaking scenery from the decks of a traditional junk, complete with bat-winged sails. Gliding through the gin-clear waters of the bay, absorb one of the most magnificent natural splendors of the Far East. A fresh seafood lunch will be served on board before stop for the two of most beautiful caves named Thien Cung (Heaven Palace Grotto) and Dau Go (Wooden Stakes Cave). Climbing steep stairs to explore huge chambers adorned with stalactites and stalagmites of all kinds. Continue to enjoy this relaxing cruise through the fairyland-like landscape. In the late afternoon, we head back to Ha Long harbour and our waiting vehicle will transfer us back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi approximately around 7pm. Overnight in Hanoi

Day 6: Hanoi departure (B)

Free time to explore, relax or design your own itinerary. Trip concludes with a transfer to the airport for your flight home.
