Cao Bang Ban Doc Waterfall has recently become popular with European tourists, particularly those from France, Germany and the Netherlands, who are fond of discovering nature and ethnic minority lifestyles in the northern mountain provinces.
Ban Gioc waterfalls fall an impressive 30 meters before crashing into many limestone steps at the bottom.
Down from the waterfall the river is calm and clear where young ethnic men of the region steer bamboo rafts along the river. Visitors are welcome to take a raft on the river.
