Voting for the 18th “Mai Vang Awards” (Yellow Apricot Awards), organized annually by Ho Chi Minh City – based Nguoi Lao Dong (Labourers) Newspaper, is launched from October 1.
The award to honour outstanding artists for their work is granted based on the votes of readers of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper.
Readers who pay attention to culture and fine arts files can participate to nominate their favourite artists at the websites nld.vn or maivang.nld.com.vn from October 1 to November 20.
The awards include the “Most Popular Song”, “Most Popular Film”, “Most Popular Play of the Year”, “Most Popular TV Program”, “Most Popular Artists”, “Most Popular Female Folk Revolutionary Music Singer”, “Artist of the Year”, “Most Popular Male light Music Singer”, “Most Popular Female light Music Singer”, “Most Favoured Band”, “Most Favoured Song”, “Most Favoured Comedian”, “Most Favoured MC”, “Most Favoured Stage Actor” and “Most Favoured Stage Actress”.
The 2012 award ceremony is scheduled to open on January 26, 2013 at the Ho Chi Minh City theater./.
