(CPV) - The ten best contestants of the third Vietnam-China singing contest have been chosen for the final national round in Vietnam, which will be held on October 20 in Hanoi.
The information was released by the organising board of the contest on October 17.
At the final national round, each contestant will perform two songs in both Vietnamese and Chinese, and the six best contestants will be selected to attend the international final round, which is scheduled to take place in China.
The contest has drawn the participation of over 200 contestants from throughout the country, especially students from colleges and universities.
The contest aims to strengthen the time-honoured relationship and promote mutual understanding among the people of the two countries.
The event is co-organized by the Quang Ninh Radio and Television Station, VTC Digital Television, Guangxi Radio and TV station, and China Radio International (CRI)./.
