This 725 kilogram - winning contest cow produces around 40-50 liters of milk per day. The final round of the 8th beauty contest took place in forest farm Moc Chau district of northwestern Son La province, involving 110 best cows. The annual event is held on October 15 in response to the dairy cows program launched by Moc Chau Dairy Cattle Breeding Joint-Stock Company (Moc Chau milk). The first runner - up went to cow number 67125 from the female Vu Thi Dang family, while the second runner –up belonged to milk number 70127 from the male Nguyen Duc Thuy family. Besides, Mr Duong Van Noi’s milk cow number 1714 won the best body voted by fans. Organizers said that it was a really good opportunity for farmers to meet and exchange experiences in raising milk cows as standards used in Europe and America. Furthermore, it also aims to promote the brand name of Moc Chau milk as well as to attract more visitors to Moc Chau Plateau - one of the most pristine beautiful plateaus in the North mountainous region that brings the amazing attraction for even hard-to-pleasure tourists./.
