Receiving the insignia “for the cause of culture, sports and tourism” from Minister of Culture Sports and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh, Dr. Miss. Doan Thi Kim Hong, chairwoman of board directors of CIAT company and vice chairwoman of Mrs World in Asia, said that this was her great honour.
* Can you share your feeling when receiving the insignia “for the cause of culture, sports and tourism”?
I am really moved because it is a great honour and recognition for my contribution to the cause of popularizing and developing Vietnam’s culture and tourism to the world, as well as bringing international friends to Vietnam. The insignia really has significance for me. It encourages me to continue to bring Mrs World to Vietnam in the latest time.

* How do you popularize Vietnamese culture and tourism? What is its effectiveness?
Over the past years, whichever field I've been working in, I always wish to contribute to glorifying the image of Vietnamese land and people and affirm the position of Vietnam in the world. On this common base, I especially want to glorify and affirm the image of Vietnamese women in both natural and intelligent beauty and also their responsibility to family and society.
Awarding Miss Congeniality of Mrs World 2005, my wish seems to be more burning. With individual prestige and support of many people, and sympathy of David Marmel, chairman of Mrs World for Vietnam, this organization allowed CIAT company to send Vietnamese the contest.
First in 2008, CIAT company brought Miss Nguyen Dieu Hoa to participate in the contest. Miss Dieu Hoa was selected in the top five beauties of the contest. In 2009, the contest was held in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province and Mrs Hoang Thi Yen was the second runner-up. The contest in 2009 held in Vietnam contributed to popularizing the image of the Vietnamese land and people to the world and created conditions for cultural, economic and tourist development for Ba Ria – Vung Tau province and Vietnam in general. For this reason, David Marmel and I were honoured to receive the insignia of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

* This time, David Marmel, Chairman of Mrs World, who visited Vietnam together with Mrs World 2011 April Lurfi, also made a survey on opportunities to organize Mrs World in Vietnam in the near future. What are the chances of Vietnam hosting this contest?
Apart from returning to Vietnam to receive the insignia, the delegation also aimed to survey and select places to organize the contest in Vietnam once more. David Marmel said that after the successful organization of Mrs World 2009 in Vietnam, he was fully confident in the country's ability to host our cultural events. He appreciated the profession in organization and hospitality of Vietnamese people. He affirmed he wanted this contest to be held in Vietnam.
* Can you talk about the timetable of the delegation?
The delegation visited Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, the central city of Da Nang, and the central province of Quang Nam to study the possibility of organizing the contest in these places. They will choose one of these places to organize the contest in Vietnam.
