Tran Viet Van, the only Vietnamese photographer whose artwork was chosen for entry in the eighth annual Art of Photography Show at the San Diego Art Institute on September 30 , has earned a place on the show's selected artists list.
The exhibition is held from September 29 to November 11 at the San Diego Art Institute – Museum of Living Artists.
His abstract work, Memory No 2, in the “Memory” photo set, was one among 16 winning photos selected by Julian Cox, founding curator of Photography and Chief Curator at the Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco, from almost 17,000 entries from 77 countries.

The exhibition aims to introduce outstanding contemporary photographers in the world, connecting these talented artists with collectors and the public.
The chief examiner of the exhibition is Mr. Julian Cox, the founder of San Francisco Art Museum.
