US$34
million had been spent on Six Senses Con Dao covering 12ha on Con Son,
the largest island of the archipelago, which is reached by daily
hour-long flights from HCMC, Six Senses Resorts & Spas said in a statement.
The company, together with its development partner Indochina Capital,
built its 50 villas along a mile of sandy beach using building
materials from natural, sustainable sources.
The Con Dao archipelago remains untouched by the modern world and
more than 80% of it is national park, including a 140km² marine reserve.
