During the seminar, the potential of craft villages across the country was highlighted through 30 presentations by participants, who also raised concern over some shortcomings in the development and preservation of such villages.All the speakers affirmed that the development of these villages has helped to generate jobs and increase the income of rural people. Moreover, handicraft products are not only consumed in the local market but also exported to foreign markets, thus promoting traditional Vietnamese culture to the world.
Participants at the event also worked out a number of measures to boost trade promotion, human resources development and environmental protection.
