Over the past 15 years, the central province of Quang Nam has spent nearly 412 billion VND supporting for over 27,450 revolutionary contributors’ housing, including the building of 21,300 new houses.
The new houses were built with a total capital of nearly 400 billion VND.
According to Vietnam Government’s Portal, Quang Nam province has 65,000 martyrs with over 135,000 relatives, over 30,000 wounded soldiers, 7,475 Vietnamese heroic mothers and over 6,300 revolutionary activists who had been arrested and exiled by enemies.
During a meeting to review 15 years of the implementation of policies for revolutionary contributors which was held on May 18, Le Phuoc Thanh, Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee Chairman said that despite poverty, the province had focused on the payment of gratitude and the support for revolutionaryspiritual and material lives.
He added that the province would continue to mobilize the capital from different resources to further improve revolutionary contributors’ living standard./.
