At the exhibition, Vietnamese Ambassador in Russia Bui Dinh Dinh introduced Russian visitors on 60 photos featuring the beauty of the Vietnamese land and people as well as the country’s special cultural identities and famous landscapes.
Director of the museum, Sergey Arkhanzhelov, who has had a strong attachment to Vietnam for years, praised Vietnam’s
unique and diversified beauty through the displayed photos and
expressed belief that more and more tourists will visit the country in
the coming time.
Irina Karmanova, a representative from the Russia-Vietnam Friendship
Association, said the exhibition has brought her back to the time when
she lived in Vietnam, her second homeland.
The event is part of a cooperation programme between the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Russian Ministry of Culture to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Russia diplomatic ties (January 30, 1950-2010).
The exhibition, co-organised by the Vietnamese Revolution Museum and
the State Central Museum of Contemporary History of Russia, will last
until December 4.
