Let take a look at Vietnam’s picturesque landscapes
VietNamNet Bridge - The scenery and the people of Vietnam are very beautiful as watercolor paintings through the lens of photographer Don Hong Oai. Photographer Don Hong Oai was born in 1929 in Guangdong, China, but he moved to Vietnam at the age of 7 and has spent most of his time living here. He lived in Saigon when he was young and studied at a studio. He has traveled around Vietnam to take pictures of the scenery and people. He lived and experienced the two wars of resistance against the French and American in Vietnam before moving to California in 1979. In the United States, he has a small studio. During this time, Don Hong Oai occasionally returned to China and Vietnam to take new photos. Don Hong Oai uses a unique photographic technique that make his photos become watercolor paintings. He is one of the most famous photographers with this technique. He has won hundreds of awards given by photographic organizations throughout Asia and photo competitions organized by Kodak and Nikon. His exhibitions were held in the US and many other countries. He passed away in June 2004
