The 2012 Hoi An-Japan cultural exchange will take place from August 24-26 in Hoi An ancient town, with diverse activities such as exhibitions, seminars, and film screenings.
The annual event aims to enhance the friendship between Japan and Vietnam, to broaden the cooperation relationship between Hoi An and Japan, as well as to promote Hoi An as a world cultural heritage destination among local and international friends.
The program features unique activities such as a Haiku poem composing contest and exhibition, Japanese and Quang Nam food presentations and souvenir photo shoots with Yukata, and street art performances.
The exchange is held jointly by Hoi An City, the Japanese Embassy, the Japan Foundation Centre for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)./.
