A photo exhibition showcasing the Venezuelan cultural identity is being held in Hanoi from July 3-7 to celebrate the country’s 201st Independence Day (July 7).
The highlight of the event is works by photographer Laila Chemekh Saab introducing the country and its specialty, cocoa.
It also displays the Latin American nation’s traditional handicrafts such as Ye’Kuana baskets, Tzu Tzu bags and the traditional costume of the Wayuu people.
The event shows Venezuela’s diverse culture, which is a miracle blend of India, Africa and Euro.
The exhibition, jointly held by the Venezuelan Ministry of Culture and the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, provides a good chance for Vietnamese people to understand more about Venezuela’s land, people and culture.
