|
(CPV) – Spanish artists will take their “Let’s face the music and dance” piece, a Spanish contemporary dance to the Au Co Arts Center, 8 Huynh Thuc Khang street, Hanoi on November 16.
“Let’s face the music and dance” is a compilation of several fragments from Teresa Nieto En Copanía latest pieces. Special moments portraying a representative synthesis of the work, style and ‘landscape’ of the company: a journey through its twenty year long history.
The show is meant to be an ode to the enjoyment of dance and its beauty, embracing the audience with an eclectic and vibrant music selection.
“The performance provides us precious moments, feeling the beauty of mundanca image in its calmness."
Teresa Nieto handles the aesthetic aspect well and it is clearly reflected in the layout of the show, the use of space as well as creating elegant and sexy dances. The selection of music also increases the dance’s depth and its humanity value.”
This spectacle has been organised by Instituto Cervantes and the Embassy of Spain with the cooperation of the Spain Vietnam Friendship Association and the sponsorship of Vitexco.
Teresa Nieto is a board member of Cía Bocanada Dance group, co-director and dancer for Cía Arrieritos dance group. She won the Special Certificate for the best choreographer in the first choreo Contest for Choregraphers in Festival Flamenco de Jerez in 1999.
Beside this, she won the stage director association award for the Best Choreographer “Estado hormonal”; Madrid’s Cultural Award in 2002; National Dance Award in 2004; Villa de Madrid Award in 2007 for the Best Choreographer; Max Award in 2007 and the Best Female Dancer in 2009…/.
