Entertainment venues across Ho Chi Minh City are full of activity these days preparing for exciting events and entertainment programs to mark the Mid-Autumn Festival on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month (September 30).
Suoi Tien Tourist Area in District 9 will offer free entry to children, while Dai Nam Tourist Area in Binh Duong Province will offer 1,000 gifts to kids and is set to lure visitors with musical and dance performances on that day.
Many different activities such as a parade of fairy tale characters, singing and dance shows and kid theatre performances, circus, folk games, kylin and dragon dances will be held at Dam Sen Park in District 11 from September 22-30.
Mid-Autumn Festival will also take place at the HCMC Children’s House with a series of cultural activities from September 28-30, including a lantern making contest, singing contest, performances of art, circus, puppetry, and masquerade.
Children activities like water puppetry, circus, folk games, lantern parade and exhibition, song and dance shows are being organized at the HCMC Youth Cultural House at 23/9 (September 23rd) Park and Labor Cultural Palace in District 1 and Crescent Mall in District 7.
