Speaking at the event, minister counsellor Nguyen Minh Vu praised the association for its practical activity, emphasising the significance of preserving cultural traditions for young generation. The activity will help German friends better understand Vietnam’s special cultural characteristic, he said.The children were entertained with lion dances and martial arts and song and dance performances.
The festival was also celebrated in Leipzig, Halle, Chemnitz, Dresden, Brandenburg and other cities of Germany.
Meanwhile, nearly 200 Vietnamese children gathered in Moscow, Russia, on October 3 to celebrate the mid-autumn moon festival.
The night festival was distinguished with “Nhat Nam” martial arts performed by Russian artists.
