A three-day free book reading festival will take place at Picomall Trade Center, 229 Tay Son, Hanoi, on August 16-18, 2012.
The event is organized by Thai Ha Books in collaboration with Picomall Trade Center in Hanoi. The space for reading will offer over 10,000 books of many kinds. Besides this, there will be also IQ and EQ intellectual games and many activities for participants.
The festival aims to encourage young people to develop the habit of reading. At the same time, young authors will have the chance to introduce their works to readers, and books showcased can be purchased at a 10-30% discount.
In addition, in the program, lion and flashmob dances and a talk themed "Financial Prosperity at the age of 30" will enthral visitors. Fans of famous young writers Chanh Van (Hoang Anh Tu) and An Ha from Hoa Hoc Tro newspaper will have the chance to exchange directly with them.
The youngest Vietnamese translator will also appear, participating in a program titled "English: How I learned it?".
This event promises to be an interesting and useful cultural activity for booklovers of all ages./.
