The Lao flagship carrier now has services between Hanoi and Luang Prabang and Vientiane, and between HCMC and Vientiane via Paske.
Tourists can book tickets at the Fiditour office in HCMC’s District 1
for domestic flights in Laos and international flights departing from
Laos to neighboring countries such as Thailand, Cambodia and China.
Lao Airlines flights from HCMC to Vientiane depart on Tuesdays,
Thursdays and Saturdays while on the opposite direction, flights are on
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Formerly it was time-consuming to travel to Laos since travelers had to catch a flight from HCMC to Hue where they then took a 10-hour bus ride to Vientiane.
“But thanks to the launch of the new flights, it takes you nearly
three hours to go to Laos,” Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai, Fiditour’s director
of the PR and communication department, said on November 2.
Now on offer at Fiditour is a five-day tour to Laos, which departs
every Tuesday and takes in Paske, Savanakhet, Vientiane and Champasak,
and the cost is VND10 million per person.
