Exhibition Lao-Vietnam special relationship opened

|
(KPL) Laos and Vietnam yesterday opened the exhibition at the Kaysone Museum in Vientiane Capital aunder the theme "Laos-Vietnam Special Relationship 1962-2012" to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations (1962-2012), and the 35th anniversary of the signing of the Friendship and Cooperation Treaty (1977-2012).
Deputy Prime Minister, Mr Asang Laoly who is also a Politburo member of Lao People's Revolutionary Party and a Politburo Member of Vietnamese Communist Party, Permanent member of Party Central Committee Secretariat Mr Le Hong Anh jointly cut a ribbon to open the exhibition in the presence of high-ranking officials of both sides.
The similar exhibition was also held at the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hanoi of Vietnam.
The event in Laos was jointly organised by the Central Committee's Office of Lao People's Revolutionary Party in cooperation with the Central Committee's Office of Vietnamese Communist Party and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam.
It aims to raise public awareness on a long history of friendly relations, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between two Parties, States and peoples between Laos and Vietnam.
Laos and Vietnam are two neighbouring nations that are so close to each other and have supported each other so much during their revolution for national liberation.
Laos and Vietnam special relations are forever the pride of our two nations. They are model, unusual, extremely pure, highly faithful, hardship cannot change and lethal weapons cannot shake.
Over 400 photos, documents and materials are on display at the exhibition, which featured the bilateral achievements and a great role of special relations of revolutionary growth each other.
The exhibition was also a remarkable event of history between two nations, which will provide more understanding on "priceless legacy of Special Relationship between Laos and Vietnam"to next generations of two countries.
