Bobby Chinn's TV show aired on TLC

VietNamNet Bridge - The six-episode reality show of opening a restaurant in Vietnam by the celebrity chef has been broadcast on a TV channel of the Discovery system in August and September.

Restaurant Bobby Chinn is the reality TV show that was entirely shot in Vietnam, featuring the process that chef Bobby Chinn turned a plot of 465m2 of land in Ho Chi Minh City into a world-class restaurant.
The six episodes portray the difficulties and challenges that the chef had to face when trying to win the hearts and taste of high-class customers in Saigon. Restaurant Bobby Chinn also discloses how the chef combines Asian with Western cuisines.
Each episode lasts 30 minutes, starting from the time Bobby Chinn flashed the idea of building a restaurant in Saigon until the final episode when the restaurant was completed and opened.
The program was produced from August 2011 to May 2012 in many different places in Southern Vietnam such as Ben Thanh Market (HCM City), Binh Dien Market, a cocoa farm, a bird nest farm in Tien Giang province, etc. The post-production phase was conducted in Singapore.
The crew making Restaurant Bobby Chinn in Vietnam is Redbridge – which was very successful with the First Time Filmmakers Vietnam project last year, with four documentaries introducing images of the country and people of Vietnam broadcasted on the Discovery channel.

Bobby Chinn was born in New Zealand, with two bloodlines, China from his father and Egypt from his mother. He is considered to be a star chef with many popular reality TV programs about food, for instance World Café Asia or World Café Middle East broadcasted on TLC. Bobby won the best entertainment program prize at the Asian TV Awards ceremony in 2010.
Restaurant Bobby Chinn aired Episode 1 on TLC (The Learning Channel) - one of the best channels of Discovery system on August 13. The six episodes of the program are being aired on TLC from now until the end of September.
