(CPV) - On 45th anniversary of establishment of Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) (1967-2012), The Bureau of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition, in collaboration with The Bureau of International Cooperation has organized the 2012 ASEAN Graphic Arts Exhibition at Vietnam Fine Art Museum in Hanoi from August 6-16.
The exhibition introduce 130 works by artists from Brunei, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippine, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam who took part in 2012 ASEAN Graphic Arts Competition.
The exhibition also aims to honour the 45th anniversary of establishment of ASEAN (1967-2012) and create a forum for graphic artists in ASEAN member countries to exchange ideas and introduce their work to the ASEAN community.
The exhibition contributes to promote ASEAN’s images to international friends and is a chance for the Vietnamese public, who love fine arts to meet and enjoy graphic arts works, which have been composed by contemporary artists for the last 5 years.
Also at the exhibition, the organizing committee will award for 17 artists for the most excellent works at Vietnam Fine Art Museum in Hanoi./.
