Untitled by Tran The Vinh which has opened at Tu Do Gallery in District 1, displays 21 oil pieces made of acrylic on canvas in abstract style.
Each work is unique with a distinguished idea, emotion, setting and color. Some present strong feelings of the artist; some reflect melancholy, sadness while others express the artist’s dreams, hopes and happiness.
“They all come from real emotions of life and also from my soul during the two past years. I appreciate everything happening all around, in subjective or objective ways, they come to my mind, my soul, my heart and my emotion and importantly inspire me to make artworks,” said Vinh.
Explaining the name ‘Untitled’ as well as of pieces following with numbers, Vinh said that he hopes viewers can name the works as the way they sense and perceive. “Art is always open for everyone and people can perceive it with their emotion and their heart, along with others who have knowledge of fine arts,” said Vinh
