Tran Ngoc Lan Khue, who won the ‘potential supermodel’ title at Vietnam Supermodel 2012, will take part in the 7th Asian Supermodel Contest 2012 in Nanning, China from tomorrow until September 30.
The German-major student of HCMC University of Social Sciences and Humanities is 1.76m tall, 52kg and her vital statistics are 85-60-89
After the Vietnam Supermodel 2012 contest in June, Khue took part in numerous fashion shows and photo-shoots for Elle, Golf, Life Style and Dep magazines.
To prepare for the China contest, Khue has been helped by designers Le Thanh Hoa for evening gowns, Tuan Hai for ao dai (Vietnamese long dress) and Tuan Tran for casual wear. She will also use her gift as a budding artist and hold a presentation on the lotus flower to impress judges.
Asian Supermodel Contest, first held in 2006, is open for models aged between 18 and 22. This year’s contest is organized by China’s Fashion Association, Guangxi Television and Japan’s Oscar Promotion with the participation of 36 models from China, Japan, South Korea, Mongolia, Malaysia, Thailand, India, Singapore and Vietnam.
Last year, Vietnamese beauty Ninh Hoang Ngan won the Talent Supermodel title at the Asian Supermodel Contest in Japan.
