Award winning films from the 48 Hour Film Project 2011, which were screened in May in Cannes International Film Festival and at the NAB (The National Association for Broadcasters) Show in the US in April, will be screened in Ha Noi on Saturday at the Ha Noi Cinematheque at 22A Hai Ba Trung Street.
During the show, which runs from 3-5pm, fans can enjoy 14 short films, including The Prince's Perfect Party (Atlanta), My Darling, I'm So Sorry (Berlin), One Step Forward (Boston), In Captivity (Hampton Roads), Canh Ba Ba (Tortoise Soup) (HCM City), Cold War (Houston), and Child (Johannesburg).
The 48 Hour Film Project is the world's biggest timed film-making competition. It challenges people worldwide to make an entire film in 48 hours, from writing and casting to shooting and editing.
Since its 2001 launch in Washington DC by film-makers Mark Ruppert and Liz Langston, the project has attracted more than 140,000 participants in 100 cities around the world. They have produced nearly 10,000 short films.
Entry fee for Saturday's show is VND60,000.
