VietNamNet Bridge - On the muddy track, pairs of cow still competed fiercely. Despite the mud splashing all over, tens of thousands of people watched to the end the competition of 64 pairs of cows at the Bay Nui ox racing festival in the southern province of An Giang on October 14.
The 21st Bay Nui cow racing festival took place at the cow tracks of the Ta Miet temple, Luong Phi commune on October 10. This year, there were 64 excellent pairs of oxen selected from the districts of Tri Ton, Tinh Bien, Chau Thanh, Chau Phu and Thoai Son of An Giang and the districts of Hon Dat and Kien Luong of Kien Giang province to compete in the race.
