From July 16th to 23rd, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in the northern port city of Hai Phong held a photo exhibiton on Vietnam – Lao cooperation.
Accordingly, 116 photos and eight posters, which depict traditional friendship relation, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Lao initiated by President Ho Chi Minh and President Cayxon Phomvihan, and consolidated by generations.
There are also photos about Vietnamese volunteers who helped Lao people for liberation and national construction.
This is an activity to mark the Vietnam-Lao friendship solidarity year 2012 and the 50th anniversary of establishing Vietnam-Lao external relations.
At present, this fine relation has incessantly consolidated and strengthened in every field. Hai Phong city has carried out many practical activities with localities in Laos./.
