Tchaikovsky’s classic ballet Swan Lake comes to the capital with conductor Nguyen Thieu Hoa, cello soloist Jeffrey Solow and piano soloist Tran Tam Ngoc the big names for the gala performance.
With artists of Vietnam National Opera and Ballet joining the soiree at Hanoi Opera House at 8 p.m. tomorrow, it promises to be a fabulous evening. The night kicks off with Beethoven’s Coriolan Overture before the big moment and themesmerizing Swan Lake.
Two of American Solow’s recordings were nominated for Grammy Awards, while Ngoc who has won a host of prizes in Southeast Asia and the U.S.Hoa is one of the most professional conductors in Vietnam and he studied at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow (Russia).
Ticket are priced VND250,000, VND350,000 and VND500,000 and available at Hanoi Opera House, 1 Trang Tien Street in Hanoi.
