On August 30th, in Hanoi, the Ho Chi Minh Museum held a ceremony to receive documents and objects related to President Ho Chi Minh.
Over the past two years, the museum has received more than 200 original documents and objects, 100 books, films and photos, and memoirs of 40 witnesses of President Ho Chi Minh. Among the documents, a collection of 160 notebooks of 19 units from 1970 to 1989, an oil painting of President Ho Chi Minh by Nigerian painter Ejiogu Mary Ifeoma, a collection of funeral tapes used at President Ho Chi Minh’s funeral ceremonies in September 1969 of Nguyen Sinh Tuan, and an oil painting on paying homage to Uncle Ho by painter Pham Viet Song.
The museum also received a collection of five books from former Party Secretary Le Kha Phieu about his life and career studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s example in ethics; a memoir by Prof. Vu Khieu on his meeting with Uncle and his feeling under the cultural corner; and a memoir by lieutenant-general Dong Sy Nguyen, former Politburo member and former Deputy Prime Minister, on meetings with Uncle Ho at the northernmost Vietnam base and his work on building the Ho Chi Minh Museum.
On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh Museum held a meeting with groups and individuals who presented and coordinated to collect documents and objects related to President Ho Chi Minh./.
