VietNamNet Bridge – Tran Ngoc Lan Khue, a promising contestant for the 2012 Vietnam Supermodel, will join models from 10 Asian countries to take part in the Asian Super Model Contest in Nanning, China, from September 19-30.
Khue, a student from the Vietnam National University of Science, is 1m76 high and measures 85-60-89.
She has been invited to many large fashion shows, including Elle, Dep (Beauty) Runway Show, Thoi Trang Dam Me (Fashion and Passion) and has also appeared in the cover pages of Elle, Golf, Mi Thuat (Fine Art), Life Style and Dep (Beauty) magazines.
At the Asian competition, Khue will wear evening dresses designed by Le Thanh Hoa, ao dai (Vietnam’s traditional long dress) by Tuan Hai and casual clothes by Tuan Tran.
She will show her drawing talent and make a presentation of lotus, the symbol of Vietnamese flower.
The Asian Super Model Contest provides a good opportunity for young girls aged between 18-22 to shine on the regional catwalk.
In last year’s contest in Japan, Ninh Hoang Ngan, another Vietnamese representative, won the Talent Award.
