Ho Chi Minh City Circus Troupe will put on a performance tour in the Northern provinces of Vietnam and the capital Hanoi from August 25 to September 2, to mark 15 years since its first tour to the North.
On this tour, the circus troupe will bring audiences an exciting show with many excellent circus acts which have been performed in international circus festivals, acts which have made the reputation of the artists of the HCMC circus troupe.
Among them, there will be “Thang bang tren day” (slack steel wire) act by artist Thu Hien, who won two prizes at the Figueres International Circus Festival in Spain, “Du chong dau” (swinging) by Hoang An and Thu Hiep who won the silver prize at the Southeast Asian circus festival, and “Co gai voi nhung chiec vong” (girl with wheels) by Bich Lien, who won the gold prize at the national circus festival and bronze prize at a circus festival in China recently.
Especially, many magic acts will enthral audiences for the first time. Kids will also be entertained by animals performing some fun games.
As scheduled, the HCMC Circus Troupe will start its tour in Phu Ly city on August 25, then will be in Thai Nguyen (August 25), Lang Son (August 27), Hoa Binh (August 28), and from August 28 – 30 the Troupe will perform in Hanoi./.
