Monica Denise Brown (Monica), who has netted a stack of Grammy awards, will perform at Vietnam National Convention Center in Hanoi at 8 p.m. on September 7.
She will share the stage with Japanese rock band Okamoto and Vietnam Idol 2007 winner Phuong Vy.
Monica is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. Her first album ‘Miss Thang’ was released in 1995 and became a top hit on the U.S. Billboard chart.
Her second album, ‘The Boy Is Mine’ brought her sound to the international stage and won her a Grammy Award.
In 2003, her album ‘After the Storm’ was number one on the Billboard Top 200 list, and ‘The Makings of Me’ debuted at number one on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop albums chart.
Her recent album, ‘Still Standing’ was also a number one hit.
