But Saigonese are rushing down to ‘lantern street’, namely Luong Nhu Hoc in District 5 to admire the beauty of sparkling lanterns in different shapes and colors. The colorful lanterns help children celebrate this special day by holding lanterns and singing songs as they walk around the neighborhood and savor moon-cake with friends and families. According to some lantern shop owners at Luong Nhu Hoc Street, this year there have been large amounts of visitors to the street but only a few of them are actually buying lanterns… there is still plenty of time.
