US jazz diva Kathryn Farmer, known as “Madame Jazz”, will return to Le Club at Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi for the second time from August 31st until January 1st 2013.
Kathryn Farmer, from New York City, began playing piano when she was 6 years old. She graduated from the New England Conservatory, where she studied piano as well as voice.
After college, Farmer was embraced by the early eighties jazz community in New York.
Farmer is known as a pianist, and also as an organist, but she is most famous for her sultry vocals. Her voice has taken her on worldwide tours and to international jazz festivals in the US, Europe and Japan.
