Diverse cultural activities, including exhibitions and performances of traditional costumes, traditional musical instruments, ritual ceremonies, and folk games, are taking place in Hanoi at the 2nd Central Highlands Cultural Days.
This year’s event themed ‘Central Highland-Cultural Colours’ presents to visitors a comprehensive view of highland culture, the lasting and vehement vitality throughout the region, images of Polang flowers, Konia trees, grandiose falls, Rong commune houses, traditional costumes, musical instruments, production tools and ritual ceremonies.
The event highlights the Central Highlands gong culture -- the most famous heritage that has been recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
The event will run until September 2 to the 67th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day (September 2).
