After many years of absence from Vietnamese cinemas, Indian films will rouse local box offices later this year.
In the 60s and 70s, Indian Bollywood movies won the heart of many generations of Vietnamese audience by beautiful actresses and wonderful dances and songs.
After several decades of absence, Bollywood films will return to Vietnamese cinemas from September. In the last four months of 2012, the audience will enjoy at least four Indian movies: Ek Tha Tiger (Spy Tiger), Cocktail, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (You Don't Get Life a Second Time) and Heroine.
The first movie stars two Bollywood stars – Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. It was shot in Delhi (India), Istanbul (Turkey), Havana (Cuba), Dublin (Ireland) and Bangkok (Thailand). The movie will be released at Vietnamese box offices on September 14.
Cocktail, a romantic and humorous film, will be released on September 28.
You Don't Get Life a Second Time, a comedic and adventure film, is considered the Indian version of “The Hangover.” This product has won 16 prizes. It will be released on October 19.
Heroine, a story about a woman who has to struggle with challenges and pains when becomes a Bollywood star, will be released in December.
Other Bollywood movies will be introduced in Vietnam after these first four products.
