(CPV) – The German Oktoberfest 2012 will be held at the Hanoi-based Cung Xuan event center (No 1 Vo Thi Sau street, Hai Ba Trung district) on October 19-20, offering visitors the chance to wear traditional German clothes and drink premium imported draught beer.
Beginning from 6pm, participants can taste outstanding delicious German foods served by chefs from the Movenpick Hotel including sausages, traditional pretzels and a bountiful buffet of all Bavarian dishes. Besides, they will listen to one of the most popular Bavarian folk music band “The Gaudiblonsn” from Munich.
This year’s Germany largest cultural event is a platform to meet people from many nations and cultures, and contribute to build a strong bridge of friendship between nations.
This is the fourth time Hanoi has hosted such an event, sponsored by the German Embassy in Vietnam and the German Business Association (GBA). Organizers are expected to attract more than 2,000 visitors.
The world’s largest beer festival was launched in Munich on September 22. It will also be organized in various countries worldwide.
Tickets are available at 1,050,000 VND for GBA non-member and 950,000 VND for GBA member and order more than 10 tickets (for 18 years and older)./.
