We start our drive through the Angkor Complex towards Banteay Srei, located 35km out of Siem Reap. This small temple is the best preserved temple in Cambodia. This sandstone structure is a must see temple with its beautiful carvings. A wonderful exploration awaits us with detailed information from our guide.
After our exploration we enjoy a short drive away from the crowds into rural Cambodia towards Beng Mealea. Beng Mealea is a relatively unexplored temple, tucked away deep in the jungle about 65km from Siem Reap. The road conditions leading to this temple are excellent and offer the opportunity to really get in touch with rural life in Cambodia.
After our exploration of Beng Mealea we head back over highway 6 towards Siem Reap.
