Day 01: Flight to Phnom Penh

Arrival at Phnom Penh’s airport, our guide will welcome you and escort you to hotel for check –in. Then, we will explore Phnom Penh with stories about this dark and suffered city, drive out of the city to see one of the killing site suburb called Beoung Cheoung Ek, a mass grave with more than 8,000 human skulls are installed in the stupa. We also visit Tual Sleng Museum that was turn by Pol Pot regime from secondary school to be one of the tortured center. Accommodation at hotel in Phnom Penh.

Day 02: Phnom Penh to Kampong Thom (B)
|
Breakfast at hotel. Morning touring with the beautiful Royal Palace built two years after Angkor capital abidance during 1432 and used by the current King for his accommodation, conference, greeting the royal delegation or some other royal festival, followed by the Silver Pagoda surrounded by the beautiful enclosing wall and shining by the colorful painting as well as the National Museum built in the colonial period 1926. Afternoon do shopping at the Russian market then transfer to Kampong Thom for overnight. Accommodation at hotel in Kampong Thom.

Day 03: Kampong Thom to Sambo Preikok Group and Siem Reap (B)
|
Early morning visit the small town of Kampong Thom and see farmers bringing different crops for sale at the market. After breakfast, drive about one and half hours through beautiful villages to the temple of Sambo Preikok group where you can see Prasat To “Lion temple” are flanking by the crouching lions both side the steps, the group of Yeay Pian, Sambo group, Pasat Asrom Eysey and a lot of shrine are in the jungle Afternoon drive to Siem Reap, check in at hotel before wandering around the town. Day 04: Siem Reap to Angkor (B)
|
Before dawn, drive to amazing Angkor Wat to watch the beautiful sunrise up behind the five towers, then return to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast visit the jungle temple Ta Promh that was built on 1186 by the king Jayavaraman VII for dedicated to Pragna Borometa (his mother), well-known as the Balsa wood trees standing on the building top before the visit to Angkor Wat. Afternoon visit the last capital city of Angkor Thom (from 1181 to 1432), surrounded by moat and eight meters high wall and made up by five gates that are decorated with the statue of gods and demon both sides of the cost way and on the top of the entry tower are attracted by the four faces of Buddhist Satva; then see Bayon temple smiling by more then 200 faces of Buddha before continuing exploration with neighbor temples such as Baphuon, Pimean Akas, Royal enclosure, Terraces of elephant and leper king. Before darkness turn on drive to Pre Rup temple for the sun set view. Accommodation at hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 05 Siem Reap to Floating Village and Banteay Srey (B)
|
Morning driving along Siem Reap river dawn south path through villages and houses built on stilt to visit the floating village at Tonle Sap lake. This is the ancient life style of people are living on the water with bamboo houses built on the street side and floating houses are built on the bamboo rafts, which has existed for more than 800 years since the Angkorian period. Nowadays, there are around 100 families living and moving around this village as you can see they set up with the modern life style with floating shops, restaurants, schools and cages for pigs and chicken on the water. Afternoon drive to the former ethnic group village of Preah Dark, visiting the pink sandstone temple “Banteay Srei”. On the way back, visit Banteay Samre that had been used as the Hindu in the pass. Day 06 Flight out of Siem Reap (B)
|
