Pakse Hotel was the first big building constructed under the supervision of Jao Boon Oum, last King of Southern Lao. In 1962, it became a cinema and casino and was the heart of life in Pakse, hosting festivals and major events for the entire population.
Totally renovated in 2003, the hotel now reaches international standards in terms of accommodation, catering and services. Pakse Hotel is also the only hotel with a French management in Pakse.
