Day 1: Morning arrival in Phnom Penh (L)

Upon arrival at Phnom Penh Airport by morning flight, you are welcomed by our friendly tour guide then accompanied to the hotel. The capital city of Phnom Penh was once considered the loveliest city of Indochina. Despite its recent turbulent history, it still maintains considerable charm. A city tour acquaints us with some major sights of Phnom Penh including Wat Phnom, Yeay Penh’s statue (grand mother Penh) at southwest of the hills, the Victory Monument, and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21 prison). Lunch at local restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit National Museum build in 1917and designed in Khmer style by famed French architect Georges Groslier & Ecole Des Arts. Then visit Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, Silver Pagoda within the grounds of the Royal Palace. End of the day, head to the riverfront, enjoy the view of the confluence of Mekong and Tonle Sap River.

Day 2: Phnom Penh tour (B, L)

Morning visit the notorious Killing Fields Choeung Ek, 15km southwest of Phnom Penh. This one is the site of brutal executions of more than 17,000 individuals. On the way back, stop over at the handicraft shop, spa and vocational training restaurant. This place was created in 1996 by Pour un Sourire d’ Enfant (PSE) to rescue Cambodian children. We will enjoy lunch here.
Afternoon visit Central Market (Phsar Thom Thmei), the distinctive art-deco styling of this market makes it stand out among the architecture of Phnom Penh, where you can shop for souvenirs, clothes, jewelry, silver products, etc. Overnight at hotel in Phnom Penh.

Day 3: Phnom Penh -Siem Reap (B, D)

Breakfast at hotel then transfer to Siem Reap by morning flight (FT992 @ 0930-1020). On arrival met and transfer direct to hotel for check in. Visit the antique capital of Angkor Thom (12 century): the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.
In the afternoon, visit Angkor National Museum and the famous temple: Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat is a World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology, visit Bakheng Temple and enjoy a romantic sun set view form Bakheng Hills. Dinner and enjoy with Aspara Dance Show at local restaurant.

Day 4: Siem Reap tour (B, L)

This morning, we drive to Kbal Spean. Walk 45 minutes through the forest to the top of the hill to reach Kbal Spean, the "Thousand Linga River." Discover the 10th-12th century sculptures chiseled into the rocky riverbed, the Royal Bath and the waterfall. Continue to the enchanting temple of the Banteay Srei, nearly everyone's favorite site. The special charm of this temple lies in its compact size, remarkable state of preservation, and the excellence of it decorative carvings, visit Banteay Samre. Picnic lunch will be reserved.
Return to Siem Reap at the afternoon and continue with Ox cart to the Khmer Village and enjoy view of the rice field and a lots of palm trees with great fresh air. We board on boat in Tonle Sap Lake, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia. Here, enjoy a brief cruise past floating villages complete with schools, restaurants, and hospitals

Day 5: Siem Reap departure (B)

Breakfast hotel. Visit Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples. Then free for shopping until transfer to airport for flight out. End of services by Indochina Travel Service.
